At Sawyer Farms, we’re proud to be a first-generation family farm nestled in the heart of Southside, Tennessee. Founded in 2024, our farm is built on a love for the land, a commitment to hard work, and a passion for raising high-quality Myotonic meat goats.

I’m Tommy Sawyer, a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner, and farming has always been a passion. My agricultural journey began through 4-H and FFA during my school years, where I developed a deep respect for livestock, land stewardship, and the farming way of life. After years of working in healthcare, I decided to return to my roots and build a farm of my own — raising healthy, hearty meat goats for families, homesteads, and breeders alike.
Along for this crazy ride is my wife, Alaina Sawyer, a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in critical care. While her heart is helping people in the hospital, her spirit supports everything we do here at Sawyer Farms — whether that’s lending a helping hand on busy days or simply cheering us on through every new adventure.
Our goats are pasture-raised, ethically cared for, and bred for health, temperament, and strong structure. We believe that raising animals the right way — with hands-on care, hard work, and heart — makes all the difference.
Whether you’re looking for breeding stock, herd additions, or simply a friendly place to learn more about Myotonic goats, we invite you to visit Sawyer Farms and see the difference a family-centered farm can make.
