John 10:1-19

First Generation Farm

Both Alaina and Tommy are no strangers to spending time on the farm. Alaina’s Grandfather had a bean patch in the Salem Community and her Uncle owns a cattle/tobacco operation in the Cumberland Furnace area. Tommy grew up working cattle with Pitts Farms in Erin, TN, with his mentor Chris Pitts.

GOATS? Do they Faint?

We chose Myotonic “Tennessee Fainting” goats for their temperament and health in our environment. All of our goats can be traced back to the Middle Tennessee area.

Christian Worldview

The Sawyers both grew up in traditional church, and strive to love as Jesus does. Our farm seeks to live out and spread the gospel spelled out in John chapter ten, “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me.”

Family Values

We married in the fall of 2024 on the farm surrounded by our family and our friends.
